  • Her favorite styles of dance to watch are contemporary and lyrical.
  • Kira decided to enroll Kalani into dance classes since it was fun and cute to dress her up, never realizing how much her daughter would grow into the dancer she is today.
  • Kira fell pregnant with Kalani at 18 and later gave birth to her a few months after turning 19.
  • Her hobbies and interests besides dance are hiking, doing things outdoors, spending time with the kids, and going to the beach.
  • According to Abby and Kalani, Kira doesn't really like being on television, and would prefer to be elsewhere.[6]
  • In two episodes[7][8] of Dance Moms, it was mentioned that Kira has a criminal record for credit card fraud.[9] In May 2016, court documents were leaked- providing further information on Kira's criminal record. It was revealed that Kira had been involved in the crime of fraudulently- scamming people into buying Plasma HDTV’s through eBay.[10] She was faced with two years probation and $5,975 in fines. Her probation was later extended in 2009 after she completed 0 out of 400 hours of community restitution.[11]
